Going through my day fast

Keeping busy – stay distracted

Grey clouds – silent overcast

Is this how I’ve always acted?

Why can’t I stop my mind running?

I miss the sun when it’s not here

Writing just to fill time

Waiting for the skies to clear

It’s so damn cold outside

It has been for awhile

I miss sun rays through my window

Make me glow – feel warm – just smile

Hours pass, a new day comes

daydream when I close my eyes

Kinda dark and cold right now

just stay up – wait for sunrise
